This training course can
be delivered in our centre or on-site at your business premises.
The RTITB Reach Truck Training
course will give you the skills to operate a reach truck safely and
efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection, and recall the causes of truck and
load instability.
Reach Trucks are often used
in narrow aisles with higher stacking and higher racking. They are designed to
have two outer legs that help distribute the load, and a single wheel in the
back. The wheel is located below the operator, which helps create a tighter
turn radius. This allows operators to navigate smaller spaces. One of the
bonuses of the reach truck is its ability to reduce in size once stacking or de
stacking is completed.
On
successful completion of this Reach Truck Training course, candidates will be
issued with a certificate of training. This RTITB Certificate of Basic Operator
Training ensures you are compliant with the Health and
Safety at work Act 1974, it is also internationally recognised.
